The photo also does a good job of showing the hills in the Seattle area and the mountains in the distance.

Today’s photo shows an art sculpture found at University Village shopping mall in Seattle.
I especially like the plaque for this art. It says: Be a penguin. Keep your hands at your sides and your feet on the ground.
I also found it humorous that the name of the store, in the background, is TWIST which contradicts the penguin suggestion š
Todayās photo shows Pioneer Square, Seattleās original neighborhood. You can see it is still going strong.
Note that we were not at this event, however our daughter and family were. They shared the photo via a text and I thought it did a great job of showing how vibrant Seattle is.

This photo shows Friday Harbor as seen from the marina. The city of Friday Harbor is a boat ride or seaplane ride from Seattle. You can also get there by driving an hour and half to the city of Anacortes and then catching a ferry.
There is a lot to see and do. Whale watching tours are advertised, the marina is full of boats of all sizes, there is music in the park, and some very good restaurants.
However the World Cup was on, so we spent the afternoon in a sports bar, with a lively crowd, watching the match between England and Norway.

This photo was taken after a factory tour at Boeing in Everett Washington. The tour was enjoyable and the factory building was very impressive. It is the largest factory in the world.
We watched model 777x being assembled. The 777x model has the longest wing span on any commercial jet. So long that the tips, of the wings, fold up.
