As a follow up to yesterday’s photo, today I’m sharing my sister-laws’ favorite tree at Dunn Gardens.

Stefan, from Stockholm Daily Photo, noticed that yesterday’s photo looked like a cold day. And Stefan is right. Both yesterday’s photo and today’s photo were taken in late May.

It’s interesting that, in Seattle, when the trees bloom in May it is still cold. Then one month later the blooms are mostly gone and the coats are also gone.

This is my bother-in-law pointing out the tree he likes 😉

We enjoyed a walk though a local botanical garden called Dunn’s Gardens. I highly recommend it.

This gave me a chuckle when I noticed this said “objects the mirror are losing”.

This is my granddaughter’s dog, waiting patiently for their return.

The University of Washington (UW) Huskies use the Husky as their moniker. As a result my granddaughter’s dog gets lots of attention when they take home for a walk.

We enjoy eating breakfast at their restaurant, browsing the books, but most of all we enjoying spending time with our granddaughters in a place they love.

Recently we received a gift from Taiwan. Our neighbors brought it back from a trip. The box contains pineapple cakes which are very tasty. The box and the carry bag are beautiful. However, what was best is how this thoughtful gift demonstrates the international nature of living in the Seattle area.

During our roadtrip we spent sometime on a beach in Carmel California . This photo shows the fog rolling in.

This photo was taken when we visited the Redwood National Park during a road trip to California. They were inspiring.

This photo was taken on a road trip from Seattle to Carmel California. On the way we saw the National Redwood forest. We also drove the Avenue of the Giants.

In the Future of Flight gallery I was surprised to find that Boeing has an autonomous plane used for inflight refueling. The MQ-25 Stingray.

I wish I had taken this photo. Actually I did take this photo however it’s a photo of a photo so none of the credit is mine 😉
