When we visited Snoqualmie Falls, just outside of Seattle, there was heavy fog and mist. A little research finds that the falls are known internationally for their appearance in the TV series Twin Peaks.

It is summer camp time and part of my grandfather duties is to shuttle the grandkids to their summer camps.
This brings me great joy to see my grandchildren active and having fun. Plus they have all sorts of stories to share and songs to sing, during these car rides.

I had to look up the term for multiple trees growing together. What I found was;
Inosculation is the natural grafting process where two or more trees (or trunks of the same tree) grow together and fuse.
This photo was taken in Ravenna Park while walking with our granddaughters.

I took this photo on the light rail coming home from a recent no kings march in downtown Seattle.
The baby sharks marched as well.

We are planning a trip to Friday Harbor on San Juan island. It involves a car drive to Anacortes then a ferry ride.
Roughly a 4 hour trip all toll. However we need to catch the ferry. So that means we will leave early.

As a follow up to yesterday’s photo, today I’m sharing my sister-laws’ favorite tree at Dunn Gardens.
Stefan, from Stockholm Daily Photo, noticed that yesterday’s photo looked like a cold day. And Stefan is right. Both yesterday’s photo and today’s photo were taken in late May.
It’s interesting that, in Seattle, when the trees bloom in May it is still cold. Then one month later the blooms are mostly gone and the coats are also gone.
