Theme Days

This could be a challenge and requires some creativity. We don’t want anything mean, of course, but jokes, silliness and good-natured fun are the order of the day.

City Daily Photo’s March theme day is mirrors. Do you see yourself, a reflection of something else or a fun house set of reflections receding into infinity? Lots of room for creativity here. What can you think up?

There have been a lot of long faces everywhere in the world for the last year or so. CDP members would like to suggest a cure for that, and so the February theme is Smile. The Linky opens just after midnight on Sunday, January, 31. and closes just before midnight on Friday, February 5, U.S. Central Time (GMT -6). C’mon, bloggers, cheer us up.

New Year’s Day approaches and City Daily Photo members traditionally post a photo of the year. What can each of us offer at the end of this anno horribilis? As an example, this is my family’s own virus-fighting and voodoo system. What’s your take?

Everyone has a favorite food to eat when they need a little solace. This is a food cart in New York City. Yum.

On November 1, 2020, City Daily Photo members send us images of kindness from around the world. Heaven knows we could use more of it.

Is this goodbye?
We can say for sure that the City Daily Photo Portal has had its time and is unlikely to resurface any time soon, but perhaps we will have more Theme Day News in the coming week or so.

This isn’t my neighbourhood, but it is my brother’s.    Is Brisbane (Australia) the only city that has a beach and swimming pool in its inner city parkland?
